Introduction

Introduction (This Web is not to promote commercial products but to promote understanding)
I am a Physicist in training & I am currently working in a tech company.  Growing up in Hong Kong where people call the city East meet West, I experienced & learned many different cultures & beliefs.
I have always loved learning about Science & Scientists’ lives.  The lives of Scientists motivated me to pursue the Truth.  While reading their biography about their discovery of Science, I have enjoyed the dialogue with them in their journey through Science and Life.
On the other hand, I believe people should respect each other regardless of their background, races, beliefs and ages. If we can understand more about other people’s situations and promote dialogues, I believe the world will have more peace & fairness.
The next tab titled “Dialogue with” has posts showing the dialogue with different people while the  tabs on the right have the general information & background of the person. You can also go to the first side line topics on the right & click on the posts underneath “Dialogue with”.
There are so many scientists & different beliefs that I can chose for the dialogue.  However, Curie, Einstein & Newton are scientists that had character & spirit of investigation really resonates on my inner being.  They were my role models of great scientists when I was still a student in Hong Kong. In addition, I chose another group people with different beliefs for the dialogue because they were related to the religious school I attended.  The atmosphere & teachers in the schools impacted my education & childhood/life in Hong Kong.
I grew up in the grassroots community where my parents had a belief of traditional Buddhism.  I even went to school that had a Buddhist background for first grade.  Failing in most subjects except mathematics, I only studied in that particular school for 1 year.  I was then enrolled in 2nd grade at a Catholic school & finished my elementary education there.  I failed in the Chinese Language subject of the secondary school entrance examination, which caused me to have more difficulty in entering high school. However, I passed the entrance test to the Islamic high school near my apartment and was allowed into their program.  After I finished high school, I became much more interested in science than anything to do with religion.  I kept searching for what the meaning of my life was while I was in Hong Kong.  Eventually I got a chance to study abroad & my horizons were opened up…to discover more about science and life.
Please check the dialogue & comments as you like.  Blessings.
